Blue Photonics Inc. announced a key solar cell pat

BPI received a key solar patent and it is ready to be lincesed.
This patent entiled: High efficiency, monolithic multijunction solar cells containing lattice-mismatched materials and methods of forming same" (US Patent 6951819). This patent is important for the inverted triple-junction solar cells, which have potential to achieve more than 40% efficiency with lower costs.

BPI recevied investment from Formosa Group

Formosa Plastics Group (FPG) agreed to invest in BPI and took one seat in the board. FPG is the largest industrial conglomerate in Taiwan. Their products cover a wide range of spectrum, such as plastics, petroleum, printed circuit board, medical products, LCD,...etc.
